Kickstarter Project: "The 3RDi Kit"

If you have a great idea for a gadget but don't have a huge budget in order to risk a failure, Kickstarter is a great and rather safe platform to make your idea come true.
The "3RDi Kit" is one of these ideas. This gadget bills itself as “first high end camera kit for an iPhone 4/4S”.

The whole kit consists of two lenses, a Wide angle and a Fisheye, two filters, a Polarizer and a Neutral Density, plus a protective custom iPhone case and clip on/off "Lens Grip", which also acts as storage room for the lenses and filters, as well as offering a Cold Shoe Mount and a tripod. This looks really like a serious attempt to upgrade your phone to a digital camera. But this is exactly something i dont want my iPhone to be. I want a slick device that fits everywhere perfectly. But thats just my 2 cents and i think for a lot of people this might just be perfect. And it really comes with alot of cool features, the idea to use the grip as storage is simply genius!

But with an early bird price of $185 USD plus shipping, i am sceptic if they reach their goal in time. Yet i wish them the best and really hope they make it. Its always great to see when such projects are successfull.
