Add some fire to your pictures

Today i want to show you this cool, eye-catching effect right here. Yes, this was done only using an iPhone. It is actually really easy and can be done within 1 minute. But as always, the more time you spend tweaking and enhancing your photo, the better it gets. So let's spice up your picture with some fire. You will actually only need two apps: Snapseed & FX Photo studio.

Original picture

1. Open your photo in Snapseed (one of my favourite iPhone apps of all time) and use the B&W tool. You dont necessarily have to do this, but in my opinion the final result will look better if you take a black and white picture. I also darkened it a bit and played around with the adjustments.

 2. Still in Snapseed, use the "Drama"-effect to give your photo more.. well drama. Especially with this mask i found the result quite impressive. I used the second filter of Drama in this case, since it is even more powerful.

 3. Here comes the most important part. Open your photo in FX Photo studio and go to Filters. Use the filter "Fire 2". You will see that the filter is layered on the whole image, which isnt exactly what we want. Thats why this app included a cool feature: You can draw a mask where you want the filter to be applied. Now just simply draw on your object (in my case the mask) and click "done". The fire will only be applied on your object.

 4. Now i just opened the photo up in Snapseed again and used the Tilt Shift function to blur out the background. Now i know that Center Focus would make more sense for doing this, but i like the effect that Tilt Shift has on the colors of the picture.
And here we have the final result:

PS: If you are interested in this mask and you want to know where to buy it, simply send me a mail or leave a comment and i will contact you.
